The Beginning of Something Great

"I love to meet and get to know new people on a daily basis. Each smiling face I see inspires me to be the best clinician I can be, and to have a personal impact on the lives of the people I treat. Your lives touch me and make me realize how beautiful and diverse life is. Trust, confidence, and relationships that never waiver in how we treat each other."  -Dr. Sean Hariri

The first step in your desire to restore your smile and get back to chewing is discussing your overall health. Discuss with Dr. Hariri what health concerns you have and what medications you are currently taking. Understanding what obstacles you face in proper healing and what health concerns impact surgery outcomes and healing. Implant tooth replacement predictability depends on how to navigate around any considerable health concerns that will make the process smooth and comfortable.

3D State of the Art Imaging

To plan the restoration of your smile and teeth, we will incorporate the latest 3D Digital radiograph technology to image and map out the structures of your facial structures to plan the ideal placement of your dental implants, navigating around vital structures such as nerves and blood vessels. This is a critical process in the surgical planning of your full smile treatment. Having your health in our sights and hands in 3D digital imaging allows us to do the best, most predictable surgery possible. Ask us about our brand new Dexis OP3D imaging and our Trios V intraoral scanner, and let us show you what it can do.

Personalized & Permanent

Tooth Replacement with Dental Implants

With dental implant tooth replacement, there has been no need to wear the uncomfortable, removable, bulky plastic denture of the past 20th century. Dentures that cause sores, don’t stay in place, and don’t fit comfortably are a miserable daily challenge. Using modern, advanced dental implant technology, Dr. Hariri has made missing tooth replacement a straightforward and predictable option for most patients suffering from missing teeth and unsightly smiles.

Natural & Durable

Even the smallest details of tooth selection and placement are studied – size of various teeth, angle at which they are set, ratios of height to width, shade, color, and many other factors. In the end, all of these features come together to produce a remarkably natural-looking appearance.

Powerful results. Say hello to your new smile.

What are Dental implants?

Dental implants are titanium posts with a false tooth (crown) attached on top. A dental implant is embedded into the patient’s jawbone in order to create a durable, long-lasting replacement for missing teeth.

Once the implant post is in place, an individual crown, bridge, or denture can be cemented to the portion of the post which protrudes above the gum line. Dental implants offer the most stable, long-term solution to replace missing teeth.

Modern Dental Implants: A Comfortable, Cost-Effective Solution

Believe it or not, dental implants are the standard of care in dentistry. For failing teeth, or for missing teeth, traditional dentures or “bridges” are not commonly recommended. Implant restorations, though as scary and painful as they may seem or sound, are some of the least painful, easy on the body dental treatments in dentistry. Dental implants usually cause NO next day pain or discomfort, or any discomfort during the surgery itself.

Dental implant treatment has become more cost effective over the past 5 years. What once was a half a day procedure with general anesthetic, bruising and bleeding, soreness or pain for days after, costing upwards of $6,000 can now be done in about 30 mins, with local anesthetic, and total next day comfort for a fraction of the price.

DON’T GET FOOLED BY “IMPLANT” SERVICES COSTING $750 OR LESS. Ask what it includes, what follow up care is provided, what type of implant is placed, what imaging and X-Rays are included, is a bone graft needed, and if so, how much? How much experience does the doctor have? Is a stent used? Are you being diagnosed from a 3d Cone Beam Radiograph? We can always provide you a consultation or a second opinion for your knowledge and eduction at no charge.

Feel free to request a complimentary implant consultation to learn what’s involved in a dental implant, the components, the surgery itself, and related fees.

Dental Implants: What to expect

Our top of the line dental implant procedure includes:

1. Initial Exam

Before undergoing any dental implant procedure, a thorough initial examination is conducted. This involves evaluating the patient’s dental and medical history, conducting clinical assessments, and possibly taking diagnostic tests (like X-rays).

2. 3D CT Imaging Scan

A 3D CT (computed tomography) scan provides detailed, three-dimensional images of the patient’s teeth, jawbone, nerves, and surrounding structures. This imaging technique is crucial for precise treatment planning in dental implant procedures, allowing Dr. Hariri to assess bone density, plan implant placement accurately, and identify potential complications.

3. Surgical Guide

A surgical guide is a custom-made device used during the implant placement surgery. It is created based on the patient’s CT scan and helps Dr. Hariri precisely position the implant in the optimal location within the jawbone. This reduces surgery time, enhances accuracy, and minimizes the risk of complications.

4. Surgery

During computerized-guided surgery, the doctor will place the post (titanium implant base) in the jawbone beneath your gums. The discomfort is usually less than that of a tooth extraction, and you’ll be able to return to your routine the next day.

Titanium implant (base) - Highest quality, medical-grade, made in the United States

This is the foundational component of the dental implant made from medical-grade titanium. Titanium is chosen for its biocompatibility, strength, and ability to fuse with the jawbone (osseointegration). The “base” refers to the implant fixture that is surgically placed into the jawbone.

5. Recovery

After the implant placement, there will be a three to four month healing period while your body does the work of fusing the screw into the jaw bone to create a strong foundation for chewing hard foods.

6. Abutment and Restoration Placement

Once the dental implant screw is securely fused with the bone in your jaw, we will place the abutments and make a custom restoration. Your healthy, new smile will now be ready to show off to the world!

Titanium Abutment - Highest quality, medical-grade, made in the United States

The abutment connects the implant to the replacement tooth (crown). It is made from medical-grade titanium, ensuring durability and compatibility with the surrounding tissues.

Zirconia Crown - Highest grade zirconia.

Our crowns are NOT cheap porcelain fused to metal. Our Zirconia crowns are the visible part of the dental implant restoration, which resembles a natural tooth. Zirconia is a ceramic material known for its strength, durability, and aesthetic qualities. Unlike cheaper alternatives (like porcelain fused to metal), zirconia crowns are highly biocompatible and resistant to chipping and cracking. They also provide a natural appearance, blending seamlessly with adjacent teeth.

The Dental Implant procedure is a three part process:

From start to finish, everything is included. No surprises.

During your dental implant consultation, we will examine your individual needs and will create a personalized, comprehensive treatment plan to ensure the best results for you.

Important Dental Implant disclaimers:

Some things you must consider:

Dental implants are generally placed under local anesthesia. However, we do provide general anesthesia should you desire to be asleep during the procedure. Either way the surgery is totally comfortable and not painful. You can decide which type of anesthesia you wish to have as we guide you through the treatment plan.

Patients for dental implants must be non smokers, in general good health. Uncontrolled diabetics, patient with a collapsed bite, patients who take bone loss medications, patients with uncontrolled periodontal disease, or patients with healing complications are not a good candidates for successful implant treatment.

Patients who clench or grind their teeth may also not be ideal for the long term success of dental implants.
The location for the dental implant must be in ideal bone and a consultation and radiograph will be able to determine this as some patients may lack sufficient bone or the sinuses may impede implant placement.

Depending upon the location of the implant, you may need a temporary tooth to hold the space until proper healing can occur. We may also need to extract a hopeless tooth and place a bone graft before we can place an implant and these are additional treatments and costs which may be necessary.

Upon placing the implant, generally 3 months of healing time is required before we may place the titanium abutment and porcelain crown. We will be able to educate you on the quality of candidate you are upon your consultation and we look forward to meeting you!
